Zik Award 2019: NASC Chairman congratulates Nigerian Senate President

.…says Award product of selfless leadership

The Chairman National Assembly Service Commission NASC, Engineer Ahmed Kadi Amshi FNSE has described the prestigious Zik award bestowed on Senate President,Ahmed Ibrahin Lawan as a product of good leadership and followership at the legislative arm of the government.

Engineer Kadi in a statement says the award will further spur the leadership of the National Assembly under Distinguish Senator Dr Ahmed Ibrahin Lawan to do more to strengthen our democratic practice.

The NASC Chairman says the current 9th Assembly has achieved a lot under the current leadership in the last few months.

He maintained that the harmonious relationship and synergy between the legislature and the executive in the current dispensation is a pointer of a robust manager under the Senate President.

Engineer Kadi draw the attention of Nigerians to many of his achievements, particularly the January to December budget circle and strict adherence that had deterred budget manipulation in recent times, and timely budget exectuon in all Ministries,Departments and Agencies of government.

He Congratulates the Senate President on this auspicious award,saying this is the beginning of good things to come to the leadership of the 9th Assembly.
