Women, youths of Ukpolo Ojogene express gratitude to SDGs over construction of primary school building

Women and Youths of Ukpolo Ojogene in Dekina local government area of Kogi state has lauded the Sustainable Developement Goals SDGs for the construction of two block of houses consisting of classroom and Headmaster’s office in LGEA Primary School.

The Women and Youths in their numbers trooped out to express their gratitude for the quick intervention that will ameliorate the sufferings of both teachers and pupils.

According to Ochimana Musa,a representative of the community, says the quick intervention of SDGs after the community report was the best thing that has happened to the community.

He says ‘All gratitude goes to the Senior Special Assistant to the President,Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire for his prompt action through quick response’.

According to Ochimana,Before now, ”Our children normally returned from school during rainy season when the whether is clouded,and even acute heat,was not favourable for teaching and learning to take place, because of lack of basic amenities’

‘But now,We thanked the SDGs over it’s quick intervention that had encouraged other well meaning Nigerians to provide generator powered borehole,and the promise of the state government to also establish a clinic in the community’.

‘We appeal to SDGs not to relent on it’s goals with a view to intervening through provision of other social services’.
