Women/youth empowerment: Borno central Senator commended, applauds synergy between Kashim/Zulum

…Lauds Dr Falmata Zulum, Borno Governor’s wife for her contributions

Borno Commissioner for Women Affairs,Hajiya Zuwaira Gambo has eulogized former and the current governor’s of the state,Senator Kashim Ibrahim and Professor Babagana Umara Zulum for their strides and synergy in developement and the support of the governor’s wife through women and youth empowerment.

Hajiya Zuwaira Gambo bare her mind during the empowerment program organised by the former Governor for Borno Central Youths and Women held in the state.

She says the Special attention given to Women and Youths in the area despite obvious challenges,is an indication of leadership with selfless service to the people in the last one decade.

The Commissioner says the people of the state should count themselves lucky having enjoyed the current democratic dispensation few years back.

She appealed to the beneficiaries to utilize the wealth of experience in skill and capacity building to the youths and women in the Central Senatorial district,saying the senator meant well for the development of the state and the Central Senatorial district.
