The Coordinator, Defence Media Operations, Maj. Gen. John Enenche says troops of Operation SAFE HAVEN had on Monday ,14th December, 2020 , conducted a dawn raid at the hideout of suspected cultists at Rukuba road in Jos North LGA of Plateau state.
This had led to the arrest of a notorious cultist and armed robber known as one Mr. Gideon Moses who has been on the wanted list of the security agencies.
Gen. Enenche in a statement relayed to News headquarter ,said the suspect was arrested alongside with his automatic pistol following actionable intelligence on the location of the criminal’s hideout.
“The raid, which was conducted following actionable intelligence on the location of the hideout, led to the arrest of a notorious cultist and armed robber, one Mr Gideon Moses with 1 automatic pistol.
“It is worthy to mention that the suspect has been on the wanted list of security agencies for some time.
“The suspect is in custody undergoing further interrogation after which he will be handed over to the relevant prosecution agency for appropriate action.”
However, the troops of Operation SAFE HAVEN have continued to sustained intensive offensives against bandits and other criminals in the North Central zone.
