Tourism will complement our economic agenda in Anambra- Andy Uba

By Ismail Abdulaziz
Sen. Andy Uba, the All Progressive Congress (APC) governorship candidate for Nov. 6 election in Anambra, says tourism will be used to complement the economic blueprint of his administration in the state.

In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Uga, Aguata Local Government Area of the State, Uba said that various tourists attractions within the state would be revived for residents and visiting investors.

“My plan is that the various tourism sites in the state will be revived so that our people as well as those coming in to invest will have the benefit of enjoying these God given gifts.

“You cannot divorce tourism from ease of doing business. Since we want investment, we must necessarily mix it up with places and sites for investors to wind down and enjoy our hospitality,” he said.

He said particular attention would be given to sites that are renowned in the community and known to the world.

Ogbunike Caves, Agulu Lake, Odinani museum Nri, are great tourist’s destinations among others in the state which are in world map for their natural atmosphere.
