The Corps Marshal Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Dr. Boboye Oyeyemi has charged the senior officers who are affected in the promotion process not to forget one of the Corps unfinished projects which is mentorship.
He made the call in Abuja during the Decoration ceremony for the newly promoted senior officers of FRSC.
“With your new status, more responsibility for mentorship also accrues to you as individual an in the collective.
Boboye further said the promotion of the senior officers came at a time where the Corps is undergoing administrative and operational reforms maintained that no serious organization such as ours will escape the negative entropy with static and archaic ideas, admonished the officers to expect more challenges in the course of discharging their duties.
Boboye maintained that the process and procedure of promotion was in compliance of FRSC guidelines of promotion
“Let me state without mincing words that their promotion is in accordance with management’s policy on staff capacity development and motivation designed to enhance career groans increased productivity of personnel”.
In his goodwill message, the Board Chairman Federal Road Safety Commission, Mallam Bukhari Bello said the exercise that led to the selection of promoted officers involved physical fitness tests, written and oral examinations, integrity, personal character among others.
The promoted officers were drown from Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS),National Defence College (NDC),Institute for Security Studies (ISS), Army War College of Nigeria(AWCN),Nigerian Army Resource Centre(NARC) and Arm Forces Command and Staff College Jaji (AFCSC).
The newly promoted senior officers who were decorated were 4 Deputy Corps Marshals (DCMs), 14 Assistant Corps Marshals (ACMs), and 9 Corps Commanders (CCs) all serving in the national headquarters of FRSC Abuja.
