Sultan Bello set to turban Ex -Kogi Governor, Ibrahim Idris as Jakadan Sokoto on December 19

Former Kogi Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris will be turbaned as Jakadan Sokoto (Ambassador), by the sultanate Council December 19.

According to the program in a statement released by the council, the event is expected to take place at the Sultan’s palace in Sokoto at the same date.

The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Mohammed Sa’ad Abubakar 111 will turban the former Governor, Alhaji Dr Ibrahim Idris CON.

Reception will follow immediately at Grand Ibro Hotel premises in Sokoto the same day.

Former Kogi Governor is been honoured by the sultanate as one of their own, having started his early life in Sokoto, with so many investements and business interests .

Dignitaries are expected to grace the occasion in honor of the former Governor.
