Rep. Salam to receive Humanitarian Award from Rotary club of Osogbo

Member of the National Assembly representing Ede north, Ede south, Egbedore and Ejigbo federal constituency of Osun state, Representaive Bamidele Salam, is to be conferred with the prestigious Humanitarian Award.

In a letter notifying the federal lawmaker of the conferment, the Rotary Club of Osogbo GRA said its intention was to recognize and appreciate the vibrant parliamentarian for the impact he has created in the community through his numerous empowerment programmes and activities.

The event is billed to hold on the occasion of the investiture dinner and award night of the chapter’s new president.

According to the letter signed by Rotn. Tolulope Fagbo, the Chairman of the investiture committee, the event holds on Friday, 24th September, 2021 at the Aurora Conference and Event Centre, Lameco ring road in Osogbo, Osun state.

“The Rotary club of Osogbo GRA humbly write to officially notify you of our intention to confer on you with a Humanitarian Award to recognize and appreciate your selfless service to humanity in the community through youth empowerment.

“The Award program, which is an annual event of Osogbo Rotarry Club GRA, is organized to recognize sterling performances of an individual or groups who have contributed to the development of various communities and particularly those within the entire state of Osun.

“It is our hope that you will accept our offer to celebrate and recognizeu you with this award”, the letter added.

It could be recalled that, recently, the House of Representatives Press Corps Abuja recently conferred “Constituency Development and Media Friendly Lawmaker” award on Rep. Salam.
