Rep. Salam bestowed with Distinguished Excellence Award by Rotary club of Osogbo

Rep. Bamidele Salam, member representing the fantastic people of Ede north, Ede south, Egbedore and Ejigbo federal constituency of Osun state in the National Assembly was today honored by the prestigious Rotary Club of Osogbo with a distinguished award for his philanthropic works and immense contribution to community development.

A Rotarian himself, Barrister Bamidele Salam pledged not to take the award for granted and that he will continue to build on those qualities that made him deserving of consideration for such honor.

The award which is being extended to other worthy and important personalities who have distinguished themselves in various fields of human endeavor in the country, was part of investiture of Barrister Niyi Akinsola as the 38th president of Rotary Club of Osogbo for the 2020-2021.

He expressed delight for the recognition as follows:

“Honoured to receive the Service and Philanthropy Award of the Rotary Club of Osogbo today on the occasion of the Installation of the Club’s 38th President.

“I thank My Lord, the Hon. Justice Yinka Aderibigbe of the Osun State High Court for his kind words of commendation as he presented the plaque of Award to me on behalf of the Club.

“Like I said in my acceptance speech, Rotary, like a few other service organisations, offers a true platform upon which we can build a world of peace, harmony and prosperity”.
