Pathfinder lauds Rep. Salam on empowerment of 300 women under the Ajoje Micro Grant Scheme

A political movement, The Pathfinder, has hailed Representative Bamidele Salam for his unwavering commitment to improve the status of constituents, describing the monetary supports given to 300 women as a demonstration of a representative that has his people at heart.

Rep. Salam, who is representing Ede North, Ede South, Ejigbo and Egbedore local governments, in the House of Representatives, on Wednesday September 2, 2020, gave 300 women in his the federal constituency grants to either start or expand their businesses.

The programme which is in the first phase is executed Uber the ‘Ajoje Micro Grant Scheme’.

Joining the array of applauses that trailed the gesture of the lawmaker, The Pathfinder in a statement signed by its State Coordinator, Hon. Oladiti Aluko, on Wednesday, pointed out that, Rep. Salam has not only raised hopes but shown that he willing and ready alway to give support to greater majority of his constituents.

Oladiti lauded Rep. Salam for recognizing the important role of women in the society and how their contributions is crucial in deepening economic growth, noting that the grant is a lifeline to uplift beneficiaries hugely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic that wrecked unimaginable havoc on the globe.

“As a political movement driven by public good, we celebrate Rep. Bamidele Salam for this incredible feat, justifying the trust reposed in him to offer the best to the entire constituency,” Oladiti noted.

“Almost everyone is aware of the devastating impact of COVID-19 pandemic on livelihoods, and this support by Rep. Salam further shows he cares and have the interest of his people at heart. This is an attribute of a good representative– a feature noticeable in all representatives of PDP.

“Without mincing words, Osun people can realize for themselves that PDP is a party that mean well for them, and can be rest assured of an even better services should they enthrone a PDP government come 2022, which we are canvassing to be lead by Senator Ademola Adeleke.”, he concluded.
