The Chief of the Naval Staff, Pakistan Navy, Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi will begin a 2 day official visit to Nigeria from 29 April to 1 May 2019.
A statement issued by Commodore Suleman Dahun, for Chief of the Naval staff Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas says the visit is in line with the ongoing efforts to foster cooperation with navies of allied countries, especially in the areas of capacity building and mutual cooperation between the Pakistan Navy and the Nigerian Navy.
The statement adds that Admiral Abbasi will be expected to hold a bilateral discussions with the Chief of the Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas, pay courtesy calls on the Honourable Minister of Defence, Mansur Muhammad Dan-Ali as well as the Chief of Defence Staff, General Abayomi Gabriel Olonisakin within the 2 days of the visit.
Admiral Mahmood will thereafter expected to conclude his visit to NNS QUORRA, Western Naval Command and Naval Dockyard Limited respectively all in Lagos state.
