The Nigerian Army has commissioned a two storey edifice Complex in Abuja.
The New Resource Center Complex which is a two story edifice contains three main halls. Hall A and B has one hundred and fifty sitting capacity while Hall C has two hundred and fifty capacity. Three sendicates and three break out rooms as well as boards rooms for boards meetings and offices for for all the head officers as well as others serving in the Army Resource Center.
Speaking during the commissioning, Major General Tukur Burutai said that the collaboration of the army resource center in it’s very short period of it establishment in both national and internationally institutions is highly recommendable.
He described the army resource center as a national Tink Tank adding that though it is not a national Tink Tank per say because there are other institutions like international affairs and many others.
“Nigeria Army Resource Center is a service Tink Tank with national and global outlook. Therefore, we have the confidence that this center will achieve the desire objectives that it has established for.
“It is a Tink Tank which provides intellectual research, promote workshops and solutions to Nigeria Army.
“We also have collaboration with International institutions such as King college in London, United service institute of India, Kennedy Herbert institute in United States these are well recognized institutions globally.
“We are also working with Loyal institute in London in order to get the necessary support and intellectual guidance as well as carry out research that are needed,” he added.
The General Buratai thanks President Mohammed Buhari for given support for the project.
