NASC move to address condition of service for NASS legislative aides

The National Assembly Service Commission (NASC) has expressed reservation on the current condition of service of legislative aides, that are not entitled to severance package with less than two years in service.

Engineer Ahmed Kadi Amshi FNSE made this observation during the two days orientation program by the Commission to the Yobe State House of Assembly Commission members, held at the headquarters in Abuja.

According to the NASC Chairman,’we are saddled with how to address the condition of service of legislative aides, earning their benefits for their period of service’

Engineer Kadi says the condition of service is required to be in tandem with the prevailing situations.

This developement is occassioned by frequent court judgements that tend to obstruct the tenure of Lawmakers and deaths, whose consideration is apt.

He says the Commission will submit a proposal for consideration of the new and modest condition of service for legislative aides.
