The Director General of National Metallurgical Development Center (NMDC) Jos, Prof Linus Asuquo has promised to reduce unemployment by creating more jobs for the unemployed youths through industrialization.
The DG made this pronouncement when the Minister of state, Mines and Steel Development Dr Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah paid a visit to the Center yesterday.
In a statement made available to News Headquarter by Sunny Eweama, the head of Press and Public Relations in NMDC quoted the DG as saying “the recent finding by the Center proved that production of Cement can be enhanced through the use of Nigeria Bentonite which is in high quantity and the best in Africa”.
According to the statement, the Center has all it takes to turn around the economy if properly harnessed.
