The Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) may no longer need the services of Information Technology consultants in conducting its examinations.
This follows Federal Executive Council’s (FEC) approval of One Hundred and Thirty Three million Naira (N133,000,000:00) to enable JAMB acquire its own Computer Based Centre (CBC) for the conduct of future Higher Education entrance examinations.
Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu who revealed this to newsmen on behalf of the Minister of Education Adamu Adamu said the move would address some of the challenges faced by JAMB in conducting the Unified Tertiary Matriculations Examinations (UTME) in the future.
