The Member representing Ede North, Ede South, Egbedore and Ejigbo Federal constituency of Osun State in the House of Representatives, Hon Bamidele Salam has announced the appointment of Mr Adedayo Oderinu as his Special Assistant on Media/ Digital Communication and Dr Mrs Adebimpe Yemisi Obelawo as his Honorary Special Assistant on Programmes and Civil society Matters.
In a statement he personally signed, Hon. Bamidele described Mr Adedayo Oderinu, a graduate of the Federal University of Technology, Minna is a Broadcaster who has carved a niche for himself as thorough, creative and bold in his few years of service as a Radio presenter, content developer and Social media influencer.
He was until recently, the Anchor of ORO OSELU, a political interview programme on Rave 91.7 FM, Osogbo, Osun State.
He was also the Content Producer and Head of Marketing of ‘The Job Show on Fresh 105.9FM’, Ibadan, Oyo State.
Adedayo is an Information Marketer, Social Media Brand Developer as well as a Human Resource Management Tutor with Formazione Business School.
A public speaker with considerable influence among the youth populace, Dayo is an author, blogger and passionate contributor to socio-political discourse on several online platform.
The Honorary Special Assistant on Programmes and Civil society Matter, Dr Adebimpe Yemisi Obelawo is a graduate of Veterinary medicine of the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile- Ife.
In 2006, Dr Mrs Yemisi Obelawo started a Role Model Project to source for worthy Role Models
and facilitate experience sharing sessions by these role models in public schools in Osun State.
Her quest for further career exposure saw her joining the banking industry in 2007 and after almost 10 years in banking, she voluntarily resigned to pursue her passion for volunteering, community service and Youth development.
Dr Obelawo took certificate courses in Building character and creating positive classrooms as well as Social Norms and Social
Change and thereafter worked as a Character Education Advocate focused on Character, Etiquette and Values development for school age children and
youth.
She also had a brief stint as a Brand Doctor offering Staff training and
Service Improvement Consulting.
She is an EDTP fellow of
the Eko Electricity Distribution Company.
Dr Mrs Obelawo will also serve as the Executive Director of the Children of Africa Leadership and Values Development Initiative, a Non profit organisation founded by Hon Bamidele Salam in 2016.
The two appointments take immediate effect.
