The outbreak of the Coronavirus has brought a devastating effect to people as over 2,115 cases been confirmed in all the affected countries so far.
In most of the countries affected, preventive measures has been taken by their authorities.
In China for instance, most of the transportation companies and schools has been closed down as well as other preventive measures to curb the spread of the virus.
In Nigeria, the government has employed some initiatives to prevent the spread of the virus to Nigeria, the government has ordered the screening of persons and goods from China, even as it enjoined the Nigerian people not to panic, because it has instructed the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) to get the laboratories ready in the event that anyone was infected.
Countries like US, Singapore were not left out as it they were reported to installed temperature checks at their airport hubs to detect the cases of infections of this deadly virus.
The widespread effect is on a daily base,report say.
On 31 December 2019,WHO was alerted to several cases of pneumonia in Wuhan city, Hubei Province of China. The virus which did not match any other known virus has spread across China, other Asian countries, Europe and North America and USA.
Health experts say, the virus is a human to human transmission.
It usually causes respiratory illness including fever, high temperatures, coughing, short breath, amongst others.
The deadly virus has so far claimed 56 deaths out of which 37 are outside China.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) is yet to declare the virus a global health emergency virus.
“This is an emergency in China, but it has not yet become a global health emergency”. WHO Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said.
No case of this virus has been identified in any of the African countries so far.
