Federal lawmaker, Hassan Abdullahi Baiwa mourns Late Onu Abocho, Alhaji Tijanni Okwutachi

Member representing Dekina/ Bassa in the House of Representatives, Rt Honourable Hassan Abdullahi Baiwa has described the death of the paramount ruler of Abocho, Chief Tijani- Okwutachi as a colossal loss to Igala land,Kogi state at large.

Baiwa in a sober mood described the death of the prominent traditional ruler in Igala kingdom as a very sad development.

He says his death few months after the late Attah of Igala kingdom has again thrown the Igala race into another round of mourning.

He further described the late traditional ruler as a hub of admonition, exposure and peaceful co-existence in Igala kingdom.

Honourable Baiwa expressed his deep and unreserved condolences to the traditional class in Igala kingdom, Kogi state at large,saying the vacuum he left behind will remain unfilled for a long time.

He prayed for the repose of the soul of the traditional ruler, whose reign had heralded unity,progress and development of Abocho and it’s environs.
