Christmas: Former Governor Idris felicitaes with Christians

…urges them to celebrate with strict observation of COVID-19 protocols

Former Kogi Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris has sent a message of Congratulations to Christian’s all over Kogi state, Nigeria at large on the occassion of this year’s Christmas celebration.

In a message from the former Governor,he warned on the need for people to observe due protocol of COVID-19 in view of the threat of second wave.

Alhaji Ibrahim Idris appeal to Christian’s not only to celebrate Christmas by commemorating the occassion,but to demonstrate love,peace,kindness and forgiveness as practiced by our Lord Jesus Christ.

He rejoiced with the people of Kogi state,many Nigerians for this year’s celebration in high spirit,inspite of myriads of socio-economic and health challenges round the globe,saying this is an indication that no amount of troubles is insurmountable through prayers.

Former Governor appeal to Christian’s not to celebrate the Yuletide alone,but demonstrate high level tolerance across other religions and followers in Nigeria.

He congratulated Christian brothers on this occasion,wishing them a happy and memorable celebrations of this year’s Christmas and New Year.
