
President Muhammadu Buhari has nominated Justice John Terhemba Tsoho as the substantive Chief Judge of the Federal High Court.
The nomination was contained in a letter from the President, which was read on the floor of the Senate on Tuesday.
In the letter, President Buhari asked the Senate to confirm the appointment of the acting Chief Judge.
The Senate President, Ahmad Lawan has referred the letter to the Committee on Judiciary and Legal Matters and is expected to report back to the Senate in a week.
