BSUAA National President congratulate Simon Ubwa and Mike Odugbo

The Benue State University Alumni Association (BSUAA) National President and Member of the University Governing Council, Comrade Vihimga Lawrence Terungwa, has on behalf of the National officials, Board of Trustees, and esteemed members of the Association, congratulates Prof. Simon Ubwa and Prof. Mike Odugbo Odey, on their recent elevation to the positions of Deputy Vice-Chancellors, Academics and Administration, BSU Makurdi, respectively.

President Vihimga in his unreserved gratitude to the BSU University management for finding them worthy of the appointments, described the two academic dons as men of repute and outstanding pedigree.

The President, who also called on the two newly appointed Deputy Vice-Chancellors to bring their wealth of experience amassed over the years to bear on our Alma mater, prayed God to give them the needed wisdom to deliver on their new assigned roles.

In another development, President Vihimga denied unequivocally, the rumour circulating that the VC, Prof Tor Iorapuu, slapped a student, and complications ensued, describing same as the zenith of mischief endeavors.

The National President cautioned both undergraduates and graduates of the Institution to be weary of the dangers involved in inventing and disseminating fake news, and the use of derogatory comments against the authority and leadership of the University, and the institution at large. He submitted that people should be aware that a degree is awarded in both Character and learning, hence the need to exercise restraint and be careful with their conduct in the public.
