Proprietress of Benue Kitchen Kaduna, Mrs Victoria Tarbo, JP, yesterday hosted entertainment legend, David Abeke, in Makurdi, to mark the birthday anniversary celebration of the music icon.
Abex turned 52 on November 13, 2022.
Mrs Tarbo also included prominent media celebrities, Tahav Agerzua and Sam Adzege, who marked separate birthday anniversaries on 11th and 12th of the month, in the event.
The culture and tourism enthusiast served lunch of traditional Tiv cuisine in local utensils at the occasion.
She thereafter presented the Tiv beverage made from cereals and called Mumu, as takeaway, to the guests.
Mrs Tarbo explained that Abeke’s music, particularly the track, Tar ne Taver Yum, has always excited her such that it was her theme song at the inauguration of her restaurant in Kaduna.
The host explained that her gesture was a mark of appreciation and opportunity to promote Mumu as a nutritious beverage that was better than the others.
David Abeke who responded on behalf of the other guests described the event as a pleasant surprise and thanked Mrs Tarbo for her generosity.
He expressed delight at the takeaway noting that since his childhood he tasted Mumu again after several decades.
