‘Be alive to your responsibility’, NASC Chairman charges SLAs

The Chairman, National Assembly Service Commission (NASC), Engineer Ahmed Kadi Amshi FNSE, has charged aides of the federal lawmakers to be proactive and creative in their primary assignment while in the office.

Engineer Ahmed Kadi Amshi says this will go along way into enhancing productivity both to the services being rendered by their principal and it’s positive multiplier effects on their representation.

Engineer Ahmed Kadi Amshi FNSE, made this statement in his keynote address during the 2020 induction /orientation program for Senior Legislative Aides to Senators and members of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly, Organized by the National Assembly Service Commission (NASC), at Top Rank Hotels Galaxy, Jabi Abuja.

He says the desire to enhance and sustain productivity occassion the Commission’s efforts in organisimg the yearly event.

Kadi says the era of idleness and lameduck activities is no longer tenable in the scheme of things in the National Assembly.

‘You are expected to be productive and proactive towards enhancing good perfomance of all the Lawmakers’

‘You are all my colleagues in the National Assembly,I called you my colleagues because up till June 2019, I was still a Senior Legislative Aide (SLA), so I know what am talking about’.’

Engineer kadi congratulated the new aides for being part of the current drive to enhance performance through capacity building and development,urging them to try to reciprocate similar gesture.
