Immediate past National Woman Leader of All Progressives Congress (APC), Hajia Salamatu Baiwa Umar-Eluma,his brother, Hassan Abdullahi Baiwa, representing Dekina/Bassa in the House of Representatives has paid a condolence visit to the residence of former Justice Minister, late Alhaji Abdullahi Ibrahim, SAN, who died few days ago.
While on a visit to his residence, The National Woman Leader described the late SAN as a proud son of Igalaland whose contribution to the legal profession goes beyond the boundaries of Nigeria.’
‘She said his death is a great loss to the Legal profession across the globe and also to the Igala race.’
‘She further admonish the family to take solace in the fact that the late SAN lived a good and fulfilled life in the service of his country and Humanity.’
‘ She prayed the almighty Allah to forgive all his shortcomings and grant his soul eternal rest in aljanat firdau. She prayed that God should give the family the desired strength to bear this irreparable loss.’
Similarly, the member, House of Representatives, Dekina/Bassa Rt Honourable Hassan Abdullahi Baiwa said the contribution of the late SAN have been a positive source of reference in the content of the Nigerian Democratic constitution and described him as Legal Luminary who have carved a niche for himself in the legal profession.
‘Rt. Hon Baiwa extolled the immense contributions of the late SAN in the upliftment of the IGALA race and said he regard him as a great mentor.’
‘He prayed to God to protect and preserve the family he left behind.’
‘ He further prayed for Igalaland, saying that the death of the Senior Advocate of Nigeria was a big loss to the IGALA people.’
Responding, The family of the late SAN thanked the Baiwas’ describing the visit as very significant to them.
They asked that they should always remember their father, husband, brother and uncle in their daily prayers for God to grant his soul eternal rest.
