Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has been in the transfer news for some years now and has gained more traction this season with the Manchester City champions league ban in view.
While many pundits predict the Argentine might be tempted away from City, his agent has rubbished claims that he could leave come summer.
Reports claim that Aguero’s agent Hernan Reguera has been approached by representatives of Inter Milan and Real Madrid respectively but the agent has affirmed that his client will not be making any moves, not until his contract expires next year.
“Sergio has a contract with Manchester City until 2021,” Reguera told FCInterNews. “There is no possibility that he will go away sooner.
“We’ll see what happens after that. Aguero is happy with the Citizens and has no intention of changing club.”
Aguero’s ties with Atletico Madrid May hinder any transfer to Real Madrid and as a South American, there is also the possibility of returning to his home country to play.
The 31-year-old told Goal last May: “I always try [to get back to Argentina]. I know what the fans [of Independiente] want, but I have a contract with City, and I try to focus on these two years I’ve got left.”
