The future should offer hopes and inspirations, not despair and anxiety. However APC and Governor Rauf Aregbesola have thrown the future of Osun state into the dungeon of uncertainty.
With reckless borrowings and misplaced priorities, it is certain that chunk of Osun revenue in at least the next two decades will go to servicing debts.
Even unborn children will not be spared from the ignoble burden of insolvency of the State borne out of reckless looting of the State’s treasury witnessed in the last seven years, which has put the future revenues of Osun state in severe jeopardy.
Osun people can not however, afford to allow this recklessness to continue as things can only get worse with the main brain behind the State’s woes as the governorship candidate of the ruling Apc. Gboyega Oyetola as a matter of fact, has often been touted as the chief instigator of the economic crisis currently plaguing the State through dubious deals and fraudulent patronages. Such a partner in crime with the present governor will only worsen the plight of the people. He must be stopped in the collective interest of Osun State.
Without doubt, APC have worsened Osun state situation. They did not only fail in meeting expectations of the people, they have failed the unborn children whose lives are bound to be challenged by the garbage of Apc led administration’s financial improprieties.
Osun is in a fix and requires a manager who has shown impeccable capacity to salvage the state from the abyss APC has led it. Senator Ademola Adeleke has shown in the last twelve months as Senator representing Osun West Senatorial District that he is a potential people oriented governor.
His paternal antecedents in the history books of Osun State is also a signal that bewildered people of Osun State can go to bed with feasible hope of a prosperous Osun State, the State of the living spring.
Only a man with the level of passion and concern for welfare of his fellow citizens sufficiently demonstrated so far can diligently resolve the debt crisis milking Osun meagre resources. Performance is the best yardstick for competence and Senator Ademola Adeleke has proven himself worthy of a State Chief executive.
He has indeed demonstrated in clear terms in the last twelve months that there’s no rocket science to governance if welfare of citizenry is set as bedrock of focus. He will not disappoint again as the 5th executive governor of Osun State. He is born a happy man, he will make us happy.
A vote for Senator Ademola Adeleke as executive governor of Osun State on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party come September 22, is a vote premised on a new Osun that offers hope and abundance that leaves no one behind.
