A 77-year-old grandma who seems to be a staunch fan of Arsenal football club has surfaced online as she is seen dissecting latest happenings in the Premier League.

The Nigerian woman said although Gunners have lost games in recent times, Arsenal have also defeated teams.

In the footage, the mother who spoke in the Yoruba dialect expressed her undying love for the Gunners as she gave accurate analysis of the latest in the EPL.

She explained that although she loved the way Chelsea defeated Manchester City recently, if the result had gone the other way, it would have favoured Arsenal.

“Tomorrow is our match,” she stated, and when asked if her club will be beaten she replied: “It won’t be the first time they are beating us? They beat us and we beat some too and that’s how life is.

“Giroud was with us before he went to Chelsea; Iwobi left us to join Everton. Lacazette is still with us.

“Guardiola was the one that tutored Arteta and if he likes he should return to hurt his former boss. I was so happy when Chelsea defeated Manchester City, however if the result had gone in favour of City, it would have favoured me (Arsenal).”

Meanwhile, Mama Arsenal was presented with the sum of #250,000 to help process her passport by Authentic Nigeria football Supporters club (ANFSC) at their state of art Secretariat in Lagos.

Presenting the cheque to mama Arsenal was the club president and a strong stakeholder of the club, Honourable Rotimi Ajanku who bankrolled the idea.

Speaking about the event, Mama Arsenal said that this is a true definition of dream coming through; she appreciated the kind gestures extended to her by Nigerians and especially to the members of Authentic Nigeria football Supporters club which she is a bona fide member.

Speaking on the development, Prince Abayomi Ogunjimi the national chairman of ANFSC said that the club is happy to be associated with Mama Arsenal who he described as a true fan.
