The Member representing Ede North/Ede South/Egbedore/Ejigbo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Bamidele Salam has expressed his grief over the demise of Chief Layi Ogunrinade, the first State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State.
Describing Late Chief Ogunrinade as an exceptional politician whose leadership capacity will be sorely missed by the PDP in Egbedore Local Government particularly and Osun State at large, Salam said “Chief Ogunrinade’s demise is indeed a huge blow to the Ogunrinade family, Egbedore Local Government and Osun State at large.”
According to Hon. Salam, “Baba Ogunrinade died at a time his wisdom and tutelage are greatly needed in steering the affairs of the PDP, a party he committed his time and resources to building.
