Former Chief of Defence, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh (rtd) was gruesomely murder along the kachia-Keffi expressway on the December 18th 2019 while returning from his farm.
As expected, the Chief of Defence staff , General Abayomi Olonisakin immediately constituted a joint investigative panel under the coordination of the Defence intelligency to uncover and apprehend perpetrators of the act.
Six months after, the panel which coordinated it’s investigation in line
with specific terms of reference have recorded a breakthrough.
Parading the 20 suspects in Abuja , the chairman of the Joint Investigative Panel , Major General Bamidele Shafa further reviewed some of the crimes the confessed to during interrogation.
Alex Badeh before his death was being tried on various counts of corruption and money laundering allegations by the Economic and financial Crime Commission (EFCC).
