
The Member representing Ede North/Ede South/Egbedore/Ejigbo Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon. Bamidele Salam, today held a prayer session in his office to thank God for his October 31 victory at the Court of Appeal in Akure.
Salam’s election had been validated by the Court of Appeal through a judgment that set aside the September 2 judgment of the Election Petition Tribunal that ordered rerun in twelve units of his Federal Constituency.
In attendance at the Thanksgiving prayer were colleagues of Hon. Salam, including Hon. James Owolabi, Hon. Tolu Sadipe and Hon. Legor Idagbo.
Other Representatives in attendance were Hon. Omowumi Ogunlola, Hon. Ajilesoro Taofeek and Hon. Taiwo Oluga.
Hon. James Owolabi and Hon. Omowumi Ogunlola led the prayer session and thanked God for the victory at the Court of Appeal.
Hon. Bamidele Salam while sharing his experience said “I had many other options but I stood with Jesus and He didn’t fail me. I received several contrary counsel, some given from genuinely caring hearts, but I held onto my conviction and God showed up for me.”
“I encourage Nigerians to serve humanity with a clean heart and stay with God in all Situations. This victory has renewed my resolve to offer quality representation to my constituents and promote access to Justice for all”, he concluded.
